The movie pairs Memphis soul an blues legends with modern day rappers and pop stars to create moving duets. An album will be released along with the movie in Sept 2014. Tonight's special screening organized by the NY Chapter of The Recording Academy was followed by a post show Q&A w/ Tom Silverman, Seymour Stein and a collection of musician & producers from the film.
