UP NEXT
Exciting things are in the works with this new recording project. This week I finished song two which is a collaboration with the Germany based, electronic artist Menty Deluxe. Work on song three, a collaboration with the UK based electronic artist MozRoe, will begin shortly.
When I initially conceived of this recording, I'd written 15 songs and planned to include eight of them in this project. Since then, I've written six more songs. This means I have more options from which to chose or I may include more than eight songs on the album.
RECORD DEAL
On the very day that I announced the Kickoff of my Kickstarter campaign, Blend, the online platform that has facilitated the music collaborations that are the foundation of this project, announced that they (Blend) are opening a record label. The mission of their label is to release collaborations created via the Blend platform.
Two weeks ago, I had a very positive, in-person meeting with Blend's Label Relations Manager. He and I discussed the possibility of releasing my new project on the new Blend Label. (Woo Hoo) Discussions are on-going. I hope to have exciting news to share in the weeks and months to come.
