2013 has begun with a bang! There are multiple event taking place on all musical fronts.
1) I have just released a new single on iTunes! "Sometimes Even Strong Girls Get The Blues" co-written with Chris Young is a blusey, Gotye inspired song. A link to the song is below.
2) "L'Queer is Here", is almost here! My bandmate Neil and I are putting the final touches on our 7 song electro-pop EP and are setting up a photo shoot for the album's cover art. Expect L'Queer's debut album in 2013!
3) I will be recording in the brooklyn based Godelstring Studio this coming week to record two songs with Guitarist Rubens de La Corte. We will record striped down versions (guitar and voice) of "Stay" and "I'm Fine". The turnaround time for this project will be fast with the songs fully recorded, mixed, mastered and available on iTunes by this Feb.
4) At the end of January i will once again travel to the world's most important music business festival, Midem in Cannes. I look forward to working with my fellow A2IM cohorts, connecting with music industry folks and making new connections.
