An album release party was held in NYC last night, at Richard Bona's new venue Club Bonafide, for the album "Nomad". "Nomad" is the first album by Rubens de La Corte as a band leader. Rubens has a storied career as a guitarist, musical director for Grammy Winner/UNICEF Ambassador Angelique Kidjo and Grammy Winner Eliane Elias.
Four co-writes that I did with Rubens made the album and I appear as a special guest vocalist on one of the tracks. At the album release show our song "I Know A Place" which was sung live by Rubens and the Brazilian Vocalist Daria, was a massive hit - the highlight of the night!
