Brazilian and Brooklyn based guitarist/singer Rubens de La Corte with his newly released CD "Nomad". Brooklynites will recognize the image on the back of the CD of the iconic Kentile Floors sign. This picture taken and added to the CD booklet months before the announcement that the Kentile Floors sign would be taken down.
Rubens has been signed a deal with a Brazilian indie label and has signed with a Brazilian based distribution company for both physical and digital distribution of the album. Physical copies of the CD will appear in Livaria Cultura and other Brazilian record stores soon.
Four of my compositions appear on the album and I sing a duet with Rubens on a song that we co-wrote called "I Know A Place".
